Into the Emptiness
If only I had,
something to say
I’d rattle on,
night and day…
How my life had begun,
How it was shaped
What future it holds
That death betrays
The food that I eat,
Or the friends insane
The madness of the day
That sleep forsakes
Life as it dawns,
occupies my thoughts
The feelings of the moment
Don’t matter at all
As I look in silence,
Memories fade
Into the “emptiness”
Life shapes once again….
Bows
If only I had,
something to say
I’d rattle on,
night and day…
How my life had begun,
How it was shaped
What future it holds
That death betrays
The food that I eat,
Or the friends insane
The madness of the day
That sleep forsakes
Life as it dawns,
occupies my thoughts
The feelings of the moment
Don’t matter at all
As I look in silence,
Memories fade
Into the “emptiness”
Life shapes once again….
Bows
